Matalan Necklace Haul

It has been rather quiet on the shopping front of late (what with me now being a homeowner and hence, skint!), but when I was in Matalan yesterday in search of a new 'going out' outfit (which I failed to get),  I couldn't help pick up all these wee beauties which were in the sale:

Turquoise beaded necklace - £3

Tribal necklace (very Topshop-esque I thought!) - £3

Silver, wooden and turquoise detail necklace - £3

'Bejewelled' Necklace - £3

'Spike' necklace - £3

I'm really pleased with these bits - especially considering I nearly bought a few of them at full price a couple of weeks ago! Pieces like these can really make and dress up an outfit, and I can't wait to wear them.

Matalan Haul

I never used to be a Matalan fan - I always used to associate it with Mums/Nanas and general frumpiness! - but recently, especially with their amazing sales they've had on, I can't get enough!

The prices are actually comparible with the likes of Primark, and the quality is excellent. Some of their ranges - Be Beau and Et Vous in particular - have some really stunning pieces, and i'm also a big fan of their shoe and jewellery ranges.

I would definitely recommend you get down there and have a look if you've got a store near you - and they have a 50% sale on right now!

Here's what i've accumulated from Matalan recently...

Shoes

Sandals - £1.00 (yes, you read right!)

Frog ring (cutest thing ever!) - £2.00 (approx - it was in a previous sale!)



Clothing

Top - £7.00

Pastel skinny jeans - £8.00 (very similar to the Topshop Leigh Jeans/Primark Super Skinny Jeans)

Floral print pencil trousers - £7.00

Tops - £7.00 each (perfect for work!)

Fine-knit jumpers - £7.00 each.

'Tweed' jacket - £30.00 (and pencil trousers - not seen - £14.00)

Blazer - £12.50

Blazer - £9.00

Cowl neck tops - £6.00 each

Super soft jumper - £7.00

Jumper dress - £6.00

Jumper (button detailing on cuff) - £5.00

Matalan Haul

(Get me, splashing the cash this weekend!)
I realise I am meant to be trying to save some money at the mo, but considering I got a gigantic bag full of stuff yesterday at Primark for around £60, and a fair few bits today in the half-price sale at Matalan, I don't feel so guilty!

Matalan has definitely had a revamp in the last few years, and is becoming more accessible/appealing to the younger market - I used to think it was a bit mumsy!
They've introduced fresher, funkier ranges such as Be Beau and they offer some really lovely items at very reasonable prices.
