Product Empties: August 2013

I told you it would be up today!
Following on from my favourites of last month, here's what I have used up, conveniently in groups of two in each 'category'!

Lynx Attract Shower Gel - This was actual just a use-up for the sake of using up - I didn't like the smell much, and sadly I didn't find any fit men throwing themselves at me...

Original Source Vanilla Milk and Raspberry Shower Gel - This on the other hand, I (and Lee!) love. Although it's raspberry-based this shower gel smells distinctly of strawberry milkshake, and is the ideal skin treat first thing - I also like that it is vegan.

Palmers Cocoa Butter Body Lotion - This has to be my favourite, favourite, favourite body lotion, and I was so glad to use it again after the tons of baby lotion I had to get through! However as much as I love the scent and how soft it makes my skin feel, I was recently looking at the ingredients on the back and it is packed with chemical nasties - something which I am trying to avoid to ease my psoriasis.

Steam Cream - my lovely Mum bought me this ("it's not tested on animals!") and I was excited to try it after hearing so many good things about it - not to mention the incredibly cute tin! It is marketed as a face, hand or body lotion, and I had used it up largely as a body lotion as I found it just wasn't 'right' for my skin. Saying that, it is lovely and light in texture and smells really fresh, so could easily suit other skins.

Aldi Lacura Cotton Wool Pads - 200 pads for less than a pound. Amazing quality. Say no more!

Superdrug Oval Cotton Wool Pads - I bought these to use all over my face, in the hope I wouldn't go through as many smaller ones. They did the job, and are quite reasonably priced in comparison to the likes of Boots.

NSpa Ultimate Cleansing Tonic - It's a funny one this (and yes it was a product I meant to review but never got round to it *slap my wrist*): one of those half-and-half liquids that you shake to mix up. I had such high hopes that it would be a Bioderma replacement, but I ended up just using it as an eye makeup remover as it felt like I was literally putting eye makeup remover all over my face if I tried to use it as an all-over makeup remover (kind of oily/sticky-ish, if you get my gist). I feel like I need to buy another bottle and try it again to form a proper opinion on it!

Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Cleanser - I bought this after Miss Budget Budget said she found it was very effective as a renewing facemask (rather than a cleanser) and I agree. As a cleanser it wasn't very deep cleansing or thorough at removing makeup/daily grime, but I liked applying it on my clean face and leaving it for 15 mins or so to get to work, and it definitely left skin brighter (if a tad sensitive) thanks to the fruit acids it contains.

Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?

Product Empties: July 2013

Admittedly I should probably just call my blog an ode to empties as it seems that's all I post about these days, but there is something oddly satisfying about finishing another product from my stash - and then writing about it of course!

Johnson's Baby Lotion - we did it people! I have got to the last of my HUGE baby lotion stash! Can I get a whoop whoop?!

Dr Bronner's Magic Soap 18-in-1 Hemp Rose - As with most of the products I mention in my empties posts, I do plan on doing a 'proper' review of these fantastic bottles of multi-use loveliness, but for now I can say I love this as a shower gel that I know won't irritate my psoriasis-prone skin.

The Body Shop White Musk Libertine EDP - This was a bit of a funny product (not in the 'ha ha' sense) in that, to me, the scent was just 'meh' and yet several people complimented me on it and asked what perfume I was wearing! This is the second type of The Body Shop perfume I have tried (the first being Love Etc) and i'm keen to try others, as  they're really good value for money - and aren't tested on animals of course.

Nuxe Anti-Fatigue Moisturising Cream - Another brand I am really keen to try some more products of, this is a little trial/travel size of their moisturising cream that actually went quite a long way. It smells subtly of roses and is my favourite type of consistency in a moisturiser: not runny but not too thick/rich either - just enough to quickly sink into the skin (making it ideal before makeup application), whilst still being very moisturising.

Bourjois Volume Clubbing Black Jack Mascara - A product I have actually reviewed (here), I really liked this mascara for thickening up my lashes, and for the 'traditional' bristle brush (I can't be doing with these plastic brushes these days!). I think the 'Black Jack' gold-effect is a bit gimmicky, so I wouldn't necessarily by this variation of the Volume Clubbing mascara again, but I would definitely consider buying the original version.

Lush H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment - Possibly the hardest to pronounce product names in the history of the world, this hair treatment was technically about a year out of date when I came to use it up - I only rediscovered it after unpacking a box of old hair products when we moved into the flat! This might have been why it didn't 'perform' as effectively as I hoped it would when I applied the whole tub's worth to my dry hair - I sadly didn't notice any difference to my scalp or hair condition.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - It's the concealer that everyone loves. 'nuff said.

Inhibitif Serum - I did consider reviewing this hair-inhibiting (hence the name) serum on my blog, but how does one show the difference: let one leg get incredibly hairy and apply to the other leg?! After applying this every morning and evening (after your choice of hair removal), I was initially sceptical, but now that i've finished the bottle, I can say it really has made a difference: whilst it might not have necessarily reduced hair growth drastically, the hair that does grow back (please excuse the mental images) is much finer and fairer in colour, meaning during that hot spell it was a lot easier to get away with wearing skirts etc for longer! At £30 a bottle it isn't cheap, but quite worth it in my opinion.

Product Empties: June 2013

Ok, possibly the world's latest monthly empties post for June, given that it's nearly the end of July and the empties for July will be up in a couple of days, but I thought i'd include it anyway!

The Body Shop Camomile Eye Makeup Remover: Not the cheapest of eyemakeup removers at £8 for 200ml (The Body Shop prices are very much mid range) but I really like it as it is  - as the name suggests - very gentle on the eyes. Would really recommend it if you are sensitive to the usual eye makeup removers, or don't like oil-based formulas.

Lacura (Aldi) Cotton Wool Pads: I've mentioned these before and as such i'm not going to go on at great length about them (they are cotton wool pads after all!) but they are really good quality and amazing value: 200 for less than a pound.

Wilko Eco Baby Wipes: I featured these in my Conscious Cleaning post and loved the fact they are 100% biodegradable. They are also very moist (many wipes can verge on the dry side) and are reasonably priced at £1.80 for 72 wipes.

Boots Essentials Nail Polish Remover: bought this aaaaaggggges ago when I had Shellac and used it to remove it myself. Not much to say: bog-standard acetone-based polish remover that i've used up!

Lush Retread Hair Conditioner: what can only be described as yoghurt for your hair, this is a very heavy duty conditioner that I would only recommend using as an occasional treat for your hair, as even my crazy afro found it a bit much!

Vaseline Active Fresh Deodorant: both Lee and myself loved this deodorant, largely for the lovely clean, long lasting scent, but I won't be repurchasing this as it's made by Unilever who aren't cruelty free.

Clarins Hydraquench Cream: I consider myself to have normal to occasionally combination skin, but even my fairly-hardy skin found this so moisturising that it turned a bit oily! For that reason (and that Clarins are also not cruelty free, boo) I can't see myself using this again, despite being a generally lovely moisturiser.

Lush Rehab Shampoo: if you find that you get a lot of buildup on your hair, this is an excellent once-weekly clarifying shampoo. I used this as my regular shampoo and did find it to be a tad drying, but I think that was due to over-use.

Paul Mitchell Colour Protect Daily Conditioner: another long-ago purchase, I bought this with high-hopes as I've heard such good things about Paul Mitchell products - and of course they're cruelty free. However I just found this bit 'meh' - and ended up using it in place of a shaving foam!

Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask: (can you tell I love Lush?!) you can read my full review on this lovely face mask here, but in a nutshell it's a fabulously refreshing, brightening mask which goes a lot further than you would expect!

Coming soon...July Empties!

Product Empties - March 2013

A tad late in coming - but better late than never!

Face Products

Korres White Tea 3 in 1 Cleansing Water (click for blog post) - A cruelty free, ethically-minded alternative to the professional's favourite: Bioderma Crealine H20 micellar water.

bareMinerals Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover - this was given to me by the lovely Robyn as part of a big box of goodies, and i've quite enjoyed using it. I can't say it was a particularly stand out product, especially because I only had a little trial size bottle (I got maybe 2 weeks' worth of use out of it?), and it did leave traces of mascara behind, but it did the job - or at least helped with it!

NSpa Melting Cleansing Gel - one of my most recent product reviews (you can read all about it here) this is definitely more 'interesting' to use than your standard cleanser, and I would definitely think about buying it again.

Garnier tinted eye roll on - I take my hat off to this product, it certainly has gone the distance. I actually reviewed this on here in March 2011 believe it or not, and that's it only giving up the ghost now! Admittedly I haven't used it continously (i.e. every day), but even so, that isn't bad going.

Body Products

Superdrug Anti-perspirant Deodorant in Soft Pink - not the most exciting of items, but one of the most vital! As someone who is trying to become cruelty free, it's quite difficult to source bunny-friendly products; deodorant being one of them. Happily though, Superdrug own-brand products are BUAV approved.

Original Source Mint and Tea Tree Shower Gel - another BUAV approved product (hurrah), these shower gels are pretty darn amazing: smell delish (and come in a variety of 'flavours'), widely available (including in supermarkets) and are very often on special offer for around £1. The only downside is that they do contain foaming agents which can be a tad drying on the skin, but if you don't have particularly sensitive skin, buy these now and support a good cruelty-free brand!

Johnson's Baby Lotion - i'm not even going to mention it.

Johnson's Hand Cream - not much to say about this, other than it smelled nice and sunk in quite quickly - handy when at work and having to use keyboards frequently!

Primark Early Days Baby Wipes - I don't use these on my face, but you can't beat them for general, 'everyday' use (spillages, quick spot clean of makeup brushes and so on): paraben and alcohol free, and two generous packs for £1!

Product Empties - February 2013

Another month by already - who would have thought?

As predicted, I have managed to power through more products (with no sign of me slowing down in March!) - here's what will be sent to the recycling bin this month!

Body Products

Johnsons Baby Lotion - this is a regular 'guest' on my empties posts, so i'll not say much about it!

Treacle Moon Iced Strawberry Dream Bath and Shower Gel - If you read my review on this you'll know how much I loved it. Basically a very obvious £3 knock-off of the Philosophy Shower Gels, this was like showering in a strawberry milkshake. Without any stickiness. And questionable animal ingredients.

Vaseline Active Fresh Deodorant - this is my favourite deodorant smell - fresh, clean, cotton-esque - and one which tends to linger on your 'pits, which is always handy. Just a shame Vaseline are owned by Unilever who test on animals. Sigh.

Cosmetics

The Body Shop Love Etc EDP - A Perfume that has featured quite a few times on my blog, I love the fact it's an EDP, it's so inexpensive, it's cruelty free and (most importantly!) it smells so good! After I get through the perfume my Dad bought for me recently i'll definitely be buying more of this.

Maybelline Express Finish Black Nailvarnish - i've literally had this since the beginning of time, and it features here not so much because I had finished it, but because it had become a gloopy mess and I couldn't open the bottle any more!

Collection (2000) Skyscraper Mascara - One that everyone went a bit crazy for when it was sold in Poundland mid last year. To me it was a bit of a bog-standard mascara (therefore I was glad I only paid a pound) but I did quite like the plastic-bristle wand, which is quite surprising considering I normally hate plastic mascara brushes!

ELF Hypershine Lipgloss in Bubblegum - I feel rather guilty about this product, as when I first reviewed it here, I hated it! However since digging it out from my little-loved makeup pile and using it up, my opinion somewhat changed and I ended up really liking it. Oops. It's problem seemed to be trying to wear it over lipstick. If I wore it sparingly on bar lips it added a nice muted, long lasting gloss which I quite liked.

Face Products

Boots Essentials Cucumber Moisturising Lotion - another product that has featured on here at least once before, I've only really worked through these so not to be wasteful. It was a bit of a vanilla product - not offensive, but not amazing either. It is rather inexpensive, but packed full of synthetic ingredients, and as I want to strip back my skincare to be as natural as possible, I won't be buying this again.

Lush Tea Tree Water - a product I was actually sad to see the end of (although an end that did take a long time coming, as it seemed to last me forever!); you can read my full review of it here, but I liked the fresh effect it gave my skin, and the way it seemed to keep spots in check. I would definitely consider picking up another bottle - right now this empty bottle is being added to my 'back to Lush' stash so I can get myself a free face mask!

Have you got through many products this month?

Product empties - October 2012

(If you couldn't tell, I am in love with Typic!)

I'm going to be one of those really annoying people here and say 'I can't believe it's November already!' because I genuinely can't - it literally seems like minutes ago I was writing my September Empties post!

I've actually got through quite a bit this month. Here's what I finished:

Amie Cooling Clay Mask - Amie is not usually a brand I would go for (largely because I don't know much about it, and I had presumed it was for teenage skin), but this mask was included in the box of goodies that lovely Robyn (she has a blog too) sent to me, and I was so pleased because I genuinely did like it. As the name suggests it was lovely and cooling/tingly on my skin, and definitely gave it a glow. I would buy this again, and am interested in what else Amie have to offer, especially since they are cruelty free.

Jergens Naturals Ultra Hydrating moisturiser sample - I can't really give this a proper 'review' as such as there was literally only just enough for one use (I really like to slather my body moisturisers on) but I did like the fresh scent, and the way it sank into my skin really quickly. I've noticed that Jergens claim they are cruelty free on their packaging, but I would want to research them further before I bought any of their products.

The Body Shop Love Etc EDP, shower gel and body moisturiser - It's surprisingly hard to find cruelty free perfumes, therefore when I sniffed Love Etc one day in The Body Shop I snapped it up! I am rubbish at describing scents but it's really fresh and lovely, and is often on special offer in gift boxes etc (which is what I bought for something silly like £10). Better still it is available in EDT and EDP but is still really inexpensive (I think the 50ml EDP is about £18?), and i've ended up with 3 bottles of it in varying sizes! The shower gel and moituriser were nice to 'layer' with the perfume, but I think these things are a bit gimmicky, and I didn't find the moisturiser particularly moisturising.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Body Treatment - another one of my mum's products that I ended up inheriting (she doesn't use a body moisturiser), again I got through this quickly given that it is a travel size and I get through body lotions by the bucket load! It's quite a thick product but is absorbed into the skin surprisingly quickly, and has quite a clean, 'inoffensive' scent. I liked it, but not enough to buy the (expensive) full sized version.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel - this is a bit of a love or hate product for many people, but I personally LOVE the bubblegum smell of this. Lush's shower gel's are rather overpriced, but I'm tempted to buy more of this over the Christmas period.

Collin Regenerating Collagen Gel - This came in a Glossybox (back when I used to subscribe to it), and to be honest I found it a bit of a non-product. It can be used either thinly as a serum under moisturiser, or layered on thickly as a mask (which I tended to do) but either way I didn't find it did anything to my skin apart from sting it! It just shows you though, the Pixiwoo sisters love this range - it must just be me!

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner - (previous review here) Generally when I go for liquid eyeliners I like the 'felt tip' type, which is what this is, but I did NOT like this. Smudged really easy and dried out quite quickly.

Botanics Brightening Eyemakeup Remover - Another product that I recently reviewed, and unfortunately didn't like either. 'nuff said!

Product empties - September 2012

As I am going through products at a rate of knots, I am going to try and make this a monthly thing, so as i've done August, here's September's!

Superdrug Intensive Colour Conditioner
Also mentioned in August's empties, I have been getting through these little conditioner tubes (come with Superdrug hair dyes) quite quickly as I have so much hair! My hair is very unruly and dry, but these definitely help to soften it.

No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Serum
This was a little sample size therefore I can't really comment on it's effectiveness, but I did like the primer-esque texture (if you use a primer you'll know what I mean!) and I do think it helped soften my skin. I don't know if i'd actually fork out for the full-sized version, but I'd be pleased if someone bought it for me!

EsteeLauder Double Wear Light Foundation
(I have been really determined to use every last drop of a product up, so I chopped it open!) I have a surprising stash of foundations, and this was next on my list to work though. I used to be a big fan of the Double Wear range (before it emerged EL tested on animals), in particular the original 'hardcore' formulation, but this one is fairly middle of the road. What I will say is that these foundations are definitely transfer proof - no annoying foundation smudges on your fingers/phone etc any time you touch your face!

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
You may have read my very recent review on this, but if not, in a nutshell this is a wash-off cleansing oil. I got this in a Glossybox, and am VERY tempted to buy the full size version - if I knew for sure what the animal-testing stance was!

Product Empties - August 2012

Apologies if you have watched the corresponding YouTube video to this (you may want to skip this particular blogpost), and yes I do realise it's now the 17th of September, but as I used the majority of these products up in August, I thought I would call the post my August empties!

As I said in the video, I am hoping to do a monthly empties video/post as I am getting through quite a few products, but don't hold me to that!

Boots Extra Large Cotton Wool Pads
I LOVE these -they are really large (as the name suggests) and square in shape, and one pad literally does my whole face (well, eyes and toner, as I currently use a wash-off cleanser). You get 60 pads for around £2, and they can be found in the baby section of Boots (rather than the skincare aisle). I'll definitely be stocking up on these.

Lush Hair Doctor
If you might have guessed, I can't get enough of Lush at the moment, and their pre-wash hair treatments are the newest range that i've discovered. After musing over the different kinds on offer, I decided to go with Hair Doctor and i'm so glad I did: it smells of peppermint, leaves your hair soft and your scalp lovely and smoothed. I think I'm going to buy one of these once a month as a hair treat.

Superdrug Intensive Condition (Comes with hair dye)
I coloured my hair for the first time this year (and have officially been bitten by the dye bug - bad times for my hair!), and despite initially getting it done at a salon, the last time was a home effort, using Superdrug's own brand of permanent hair dye (I plan on reviewing it next time I use it). This little tube of conditioner comes with the dye and i've really liked it - it really does smooth and condition your hair after colouring.

jstJodie Semtex
I mentioned these in my health and fitness post, and whilst they were fairly inoffensive in that I didn't (thankfully) have any side-effects, conversely I didn't notice any amazing benefits, and for the price of £30 for 1 month's supply, I would have expected more. From what Jodie (Marsh) has been retweeting, these really do seem to work for some people, but I'm going to battle on without them i'm afraid!

Emporio Armani 'She' EDP
I bought this on a whim one day in Boots (prior to my decision to become cruelty-free) when I had a money off voucher, and whilst I do love the beautiful fresh, talcum-power-esque scent, I wouldn't spend that amount of money (around £30)on such a small amount of perfume (30ml) again, especially when it's not cruelty free. The bottle is also rather unpractical - I like to see how much i've got left!

Olay Beauty Fluid
A bit of a cult classic (Olay and Ponds I always relate to my mum and my Nana!), I was given this for Christmas last year and have used it up in a bid to work through all my stock of products before buying any more. I do like the scent and the light texture of it (and therefore how it quickly sinks into the skin), but it's not a miracle product and not one i'd go out my way to buy repeatedly, again largely due to the animal testing factor also.

Johnson's Baby Lotion
I have to admit I've always had  a bit of a soft spot fr baby lotion, and recently accumulated about 7 bottles after Lee's baby nephew became allergic to it. It can be used as a cleanser but I tend to use it as a body moisturiser. And it's pink!

Soap & Glory Hand Food (travel size)
I say travel size, really it's a far more practical handbag size than the big version of this they also offer (and a bit more realistically priced at £2.50). It's taken me quite a while to work through this though (note that I even chopped the top off to get every last bit out!), and despite the thick consistency it sinks in really quickly leaving hands soft and smelling of the lovely signature Soap and Glory scent. If I didn't have about 10 bottles of hand lotion to work through i'd buy this again.

Estee Lauder Perfectly Cleaning Cleansing Lotion
I find it so odd that this is called a lotion when it was evidently a toner. Or was toner in appearance. Hmm. I can't for the life of me remember where I got this, but I was using it as a toner after cleansing, and unfortunately it basically hurt my face (but evidently not enough since I persisted and used it up!). It was also incredibly heavily scented. Suffice to say I wouldn't buy the bigger version!

Product Empties

Another week, another load of finished products!

I know some bloggers/youtubers do these kind of posts on a monthly basis, but mine are more as-and-when, as i'm *trying* to be good and use up products before I buy any more!

These particular types of posts/videos have really taken off recently (I used to call mine 'product use ups - would I buy again?'), and I think they are a really good way of not only obtaining reviews/opinions of products on the part of the reader/watcher, but also letting yourself see (as the reviewer) what products you really do like and go through the most.

♥ FCUK Signature Body Butter - I am a bit of a body lotion junkie, and can safely say that this is the first ever body 'butter' that does indeed have a texture like butter! I could put my finger in it and it almost felt quite 'spongey' and was very luxurious and thick (it contains almond oil and shea butter) but yet sunk in quite quickly. I also loved the smell - if you love oriental, woody, almost maculine scents, then you will love this - it is described as a combination of musky woody base and enticing floral bouquet, topped off with a hint of vanilla on the Boots website. Would I buy again? I didn't actually buy this - it came as part of a set for Christmas I think it was - but I would consider getting some again, especially if I saw it on special offer somewhere (RRP is around £6 for 200ml - I'm used to paying about £2 for my Palmers Cocoa butter!)

♥ Lush Ultrabland facial cleanser - I never used to 'get' the obsession with Lush ("£4 for a bath bomb? You must be mad" I used to scoff), and I can't remember what the exact turning point was, but I have well and truely been bitten by the Lush bug and now i'm OBSESSED and want to try anything and everything offered by them!
I was on the hunt for a new cleanser to try after I finished my Naked Skincare cleanser (in my last Product Empties post here) and decided to pick up this smaller version (Ultrabland is available  in 45g and 100g pot sizes). Ideal if you want something you can smear all over your face to remove makeup and cleanse at once (yes, that's me, i'm lazy), Ultrabland is quite heavy and rather oily, and you will need to remove it with a muslin cloth or similar - cotton wool pads will just fall at the first hurdle! Would I buy again? I can imagine this is a product that i'd like to use in the winter months when my skin is dry and needing some TLC. It feels slightly too heavy for my skin right now whilst it's rather sweltering outside (at last!).

♥ Lush It's Raining Men Shower Gel - (I told you i've been bitten by the Lush bug!) This was a bit of an impulse buy as i've heard so many things about it and like to use nice things in the shower! I personally wasn't bowled over by it (and Lee really didn't like it!) but I didn't hate it or anything - it's a perfectly nice, honey-based scent - I just personally don't see what the hype is! Would I buy again? Probably not, especially when it costs £4.25 for a small100g bottle.

♥ Naked Skincare Up Tone Girl Toner - Toner has become a staple product in my skincare routine, largely because I like to doubly check i've remover all my makeup and cleanser. I picked up this particular one from Naked Skincare some time ago along with the cleanser and eye gel. I like the Naked Skincare range, not least because they don't test on animals, try to use organic/natural ingredients as much as they can and are very affordable. I also like their quirky product names and packaging designs. This toner did the job in terms of ensuring all cleanser/makeup was removed, but in terms of any other 'jobs' (for example I thought the witch hazel would help with spots), it didn't seem to do much. Would I buy again? If it was on offer I might consider it, but I have since discovered what could be my holy grail toner (from Lush, surprise surprise!) and am enjoying using it right now.

♥ Thierry Muglar Angel EDP - My favourite, favourite, favourite perfume, and one which I try not to go through too much of but seem to quite a lot, much to the other half's dismay (it isn't the cheapest of perfumes)! Would I buy again? Yes - or preferably get someone else to buy it for me!
♥ Illamasqua Freak EDP sample - This one is a bit of a cheat, being a sample 'n' all (and did only take me about 2 uses worth to finish it), but it's 'an empty' so it's being included! It's a bit of a weird one this perfume: when I first wore it I did NOT like it - it seemed rather mumsy, boring and quite frankly not unlike synthetic air freshner (according to the Illamasqua website it is a concoction of dangerously exotic unconventional flowers that Illamasqua has unashamedly blended together to celebrate the night)! - but it seemed to change once it settled and I even received a couple of compliments on it. Would I buy again? I might add the free sample to my online basket should it ever be offered again, but I wouldn't fork out £59 for the 75ml bottle!

♥ No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara - Is it just me, or do No7 have the biggest mascara range ever?! They always seem to be coming out with a new mascara...This particular one is a 'sample' size that was included in a promotional gift set (again at Christmas. I've got gift sets coming out my ears during the festive period!) and i've only just got round to using/finishing it. As you can see from the bottom photo, it's got 3 different 'facets' to the plastic brush head, but to be honest I didn't notice any great difference in application when using one side to another. The mascara formulation itself is pretty standard too - I wasn't particularly blown away! Would I buy again? No - probably not even if I had a No7 £5 off voucher, as even with this discount it would still be about £7 and for an 'ok', bog-standard mascara I wouldn't want to fork out that much!

What have you used up this month?
